Iman brings over 17 years of international communications experience across Europe, Bermuda, and the Middle East. Since joining BLJ nearly seven years ago, she has held several roles, including Head of the Finance and Investment Practice in 2021 and General Manager in 2023. In 2024, she was elected to the MEPRA Strategy Board and has been featured in the PRWeek Middle East Power Book for the past two consecutive years in recognition of her contributions to the industry.
As Managing Director at BLJ, Iman supports clients across Qatar and the region with strategic planning, crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, narrative development, and creative campaigns. Prior to joining BLJ, she held various strategic communications roles with the UK’s Department for International Trade – which is responsible for developing trade agreements between the United Kingdom and foreign countries – National Savings and Investments, an agency of the UK Treasury, and M&G Investments, one of Europe’s leading asset management firms.
Iman has also led the public relations and communications efforts for the Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg since its inception. The event has convened over 150 influential business leaders from around the world to discuss the most pressing global business issues. She completed her degree in Marketing and Promotion at the University of the Arts London.
Currently based in Doha, Qatar, Iman provides strategic communications and senior counsel to clients, including the Qatar Investment Authority, Qatar Financial Zone Authority, Qatar Development Bank, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Permanent Committee for Organising Conferences and several other Qatari entities.
In her current role, Hadia advises government entities, philanthropic organisations, and major institutions on reputation-building, integrated media strategy, and cross-border campaigns. In 2022, Hadia was appointed Head of the Foundations & Education Practice at BLJ Worldwide, where she led the Qatar Foundation Entities portfolio, alongside key education clients, including the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Georgetown University in Qatar, and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar.
Since joining BLJ in 2016, Hadia has held senior leadership roles, helping shape the agency’s positioning as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers. Her portfolio includes work on national campaigns and flagship communications programs, managing cross-functional teams and driving agency-wide operational excellence.
Before joining BLJ, Hadia led marketing and advertising initiatives at TripleTwo Qatar, a Doha-based media and marketing agency, serving high-profile clients. Earlier, she spent over four years at PepsiCo Egypt, where she was responsible for external communications, CSR, and internal engagement across the North East Africa business unit.
Hadia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication from the American University in Cairo and is currently based in Doha, Qatar.
As a Senior Director in BLJ’s Doha office, Anya oversees the Arts and Culture Practice team and clients.
Prior to joining BLJ, Anya was an Associate Director at Teneo Blue Rubicon in Doha working across the country’s biggest education and non-profit organisations. Anya was also part of the core team designing and testing Qatar brand’s crisis communications response, including building out team capabilities and training staff.
Anya holds a Master of Science in Behavioural Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Art in Public Relations and Sociology from Syracuse University.
Since arriving in Qatar in 2010, Katherine is at the helm of operations at BLJ Worldwide, where she runs the daily operations and activities of the company by overseeing several accounts and oversees the (80+) staff members across the region and supports clients across different accounts working with corporate, private and semi-governmental organisations. She also supervises new business opportunities and plans the relevant logistics, operations and vital actions.
Katherine provides operational risk management solutions, frameworks and delivers strategic advice in the realm of business operations, human capital, and senior counsel to employees to provide effective solutions that can target efficiency, quality, and profitability in all areas of the business, promote the overall health and success of the business, managing financial & commercial budgets of business operations and guiding work teams are running smoothly.
From tactical business decisions to operations, human capital, administration, change management, strategic partnerships, and team supervision, Katherine wears many hats to ensure the agency works in tandem to deliver high-quality client support while driving business growth.
Katherine holds an airline certification license from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Doha, State of Qatar and is an accredited PR practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology at Far Eastern University in the Philippines and is a certified computer specialist, licensed by TESDA, a government agency.
Roaa is part of the senior management team, providing all necessary tasks, and reports. She supports the business in ensuring the accuracy of all financial documents to maintain transparency and accuracy.
Roaa has completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Cairo University.
